Local Technical Officials course in Manchester

The education of officials is an essential part of the development of Triathlon in the UK.

Race Officials are a valuable resource and as such are rewarded for their time, commitment and skills in the form of a subsistence payment of no less than £30 per event.

The aim of the Triathlon England Officials Education Programme is to service the increasing needs of the competitive programme with high quality officials, trained to a consistent standard who operate in a fair and professional manner with common aims and objectives. The programme will provide clear and equitable routes for progression and development to all candidates and will ensure that British Triathlon is capable of developing high quality officials.

The start of this pathway is to become a Local Technical Official. The North West Region is hosting a LTO course on Saturday 31 March at Manchester Velodrome. Sue Taylor a member of the Officials National Tech Committee will tutor the course.
