Published:

After last weekend’s achievements for the Great Britain Age-Group Team in the ETU Long Distance Triathlon European Championships, the Great Britain Age-Group Team is hoping for more long distance success this weekend in China.

The 2014 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships will be held this weekend in Weihai, China where the Great Britain Age-Group Team will once again be competing for medals and World titles to add to their own and Great Britain’s collection.

The team of 14 will be competing on Sunday 21st September with the age-group race starting at 8:45am local time. The technically challenging course will see competitors swim 4km around Half Moon Bay before cycling 120km through Eastern China’s scenic coastal mountains and towns. Competitors will then run 20km around the coastal town of Weihai.
