Invitation to free Endurance Research Symposium
We would like to invite you to the free Endurance Research Symposium to be held in Chatham, Kent, on the 24th of July 2012.
In this occasion, the Centre for Sports Studies at the University of Kent will be launching its Endurance Research Group. This multi- and inter-disciplinary research group is composed of several academics and postgraduate research students investigating the physiological, psychological, biomechanical, and applied aspects of endurance exercise and endurance performance. To promote the Endurance Research Group, its members will present their research during a very exciting symposium. Highlights of this Endurance Research Symposium are the Inaugural Lectures of Professors Louis Passfield and Samuele Marcora, and the Invited Lectures of two guest speakers: Professor Guillaume Millet from France, and Professor Frank Marino from Australia. For more details about the scientific programme, please refer to the attached document.
The attendance of the symposium is free of charge, and more details (including directions to the University of Kent’s Medway Campus in Chatham) can be found on our website: http://www.kent.ac.uk/sports-studies/Symposium/index.html. Please let us know if you are going to attend the Endurance Research Symposium by completing the online registration form. We would also be grateful if you let your colleagues and students know about this symposium. Everybody is welcome.
