Welsh Triathlon National Championships 2016

The next national championship event will be the middle distance triathlon on Sunday 5 June 2016 in the beautiful market town of Bala.

This race is being organised by WatsON Events in conjunction with Wrexham Triathlon Club. The race will consist of a 2 km lake swim, 81 km bike and a 20km run.

Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female athletes in the various age categories.

To be eligible for a National Championship medal you must be:

• a Welsh Triathlon member and hold a valid race license at 17h00 three days prior to the event, as per 24.4 (ii) of British Triathlon’s Competition Rules (January 2016). 

Three days prior to this race being Thursday 2 June 2016. Just to confirm we do check the entry list line by line, to ensure everyone who claims to be a current member is. Unfortunately, each time we do this, we have to withdraw some names from the list, as their membership has expired since they entered the race.
