Key figures within the sport will gather at Loughborough University this weekend as British Triathlon prepares to host the 2015 ETU Presidents' Conference.

The European Triathlon Union (ETU) Executive Board, including President Renato Bertrandi, have invited delegates from 30 National Federations to attend the annual event as they look to review the previous 12 months and draw focus towards key moments on the 2015 calendar.

CEO of the ITU, Antonio Arimany, is amongst the guests attending the three-day event starting Friday (January 30). Saturday’s agenda will see British Triathlon present on Major Events, Coaching and Talent Pathway plans for the coming year.

Ian Howard, President of the British Triathlon Board of Directors and ETU Board Member said: “It gives me enormous pleasure to welcome members of the ITU and ETU along with National Federation delegates to Loughborough, the Headquarters of the British Triathlon Federation.

“We are proud of our offices and delighted to have the opportunity to show them to those of you who are interested during what promises to be an exciting and informative weekend. The BTF staff will be on hand before and during the conference and look forward to playing host to so many key individuals within the sport.”

Time will be allocated on Sunday for discussion groups and opportunity for guests to tour the world-class training facilities based on the University Sports Complex.
