After an extensive recruitment process, British Triathlon is pleased to announce the Lead Coaches of the Sport England-funded project, Skills School.

Skills School is a new initiative from Triathlon England that will better support the development of young triathletes and children’s club coaches in each region. The past few weeks have been spent actively seeking the coaches that will spearhead the initiative across England.

Juliet Paterson was succesful in gaining the position for the South West region. She is a Level 2 coach based near Okehampton and has worked tirelessly locally to increase the offer for children in the area.

The Lead Coaches will be the face of Skills School within their region and will lead on the planning and delivery of the Skills School days, which will focus on providing engaging opportunities for both athletes and coaches. We will follow up with a full introduction from Juliet herself in the very near future.

The region would like to congratulate Juliet on her new position and look forward to helping her drive the initiative forward.
