Places will only be accepted once your regional manager has received the candidate application form along with payment making the cheque payable to Triathlon England West Midlands.
This will be on a first come first served basis. .
Candidates must be able to attend all days. You cannot swap days onto different courses or work from home.

This course is for all qualified coaches within the BTF system, and ideally suited for coaches operating within the club system.
It aims to increase awareness of paratriathlon, the different types of disabilities that compete, and aims to give practical advice and coaching tips for the wide variety people who could take part.
It’s a mixture of academic class room based study, and practical delivery using kit and equipment to give coaches a real experience of coaching paratriathletes.

Swim Smooth – Teach freestyle from scratch

Open to all L1/2/3 Triathlon England qualified coaches in teaching methods of the freestyle stroke for complete beginners. Course delivery will be by Swim Smooth tutors.!
Coaches must have a good understanding of freestyle swimming and experience of coaching swimmers who can already swim freestyle. Trainee L1 coaches will not be allowed to attend. The workshop is not open to ASA or STA qualified coaches.
This interactive course will be run as a half day of approximately 3 hours classroom time delivered by Swim Smooth tutors to 12 coaches. Ideally two courses will be run in a day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon with an approximate timetable of 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm for the two sessions.

Regional Technical Officials Course

The RTO course is the next step on the officiating pathway and builds upon the skills and knowledge gained during the course of training and operating as an LTO and further develops these while adding to them.
The training consists of:
- A half day course
- An associated knowledge tester
- The completion of two shadows of qualified officials at two open water events
