A Triathlon is an event that starts with a swim followed by a bike and finishes with a run.

A Duathlon starts with a run followed by a bike and finishes with a second and shorter run.

Athletes who are Triathlon England members that have North West as their associated region will automatically be registered for the Junior Series. As a Triathlon England member this is this only way to collect points in the series.

Only your best 6 scores will count towards your Series scores. No more than 3 of these scores can be Aquathlons or Duathlons. At least 3 of the counting races must be Triathlons.

Anyone can enter the events but to be entered for the North West Junior Race Series standing athletes must be a current British Triathlon Home Nation member with the associated region of North West on their membership card.

British Triathlon Home Nation member with the associated region of North West to be eligible for point and prizesin the North West Junior Series.
