Athletes 14&15: 200m swim / 1500m run trial distances
Athletes 16-18: 400m swim / 3km run. trial distances
Athletes who are successful at this stage will go to a 2nd trial day tbc. final details of this day will be shared with successful applicants.
You should read the Regional Academy Guide very carefully, it will help when deciding whether or not to apply. The Regional Academy Points Calculator is located at the bottom of the Talent Identification page and times calculated are based on your single discipline performances.
These tables demonstrate times to score a balanced swim / run 340 points. This can also be achieved by scoring higher in one discipline, as long as both score a minimum of 160 points, this is a guide only.
