The SteelMan at the fantastic Dorney Lake, the Rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games, now includes Aquathlon and AquaBike events as well as the traditional Olympic and 3Quarter Distance Triathlons! The Olympic Triathlon is a 1,500m open water swim in the clear, clean waters of the rowing lake before taking to the closed, flat road circuit for an 8-lap bike course covering 42.4km. The final 10km run follows a 4 lap loop along the side of the rowing tank on the tarmac paths. We reckon that if you're looking for a PB over accurate distances then this is where you're going to find it. The 3Quarter Triathlon is a 1000m swim followed by a 6 lap 31.8km Bike and a 3 lap 7.5km Run.
