The venue is at Ripon Racecourse which provides a perfect open water swim lake and plenty of space for a large Triathlon, Expo, camping and parking for up to 850 athletes, their families and friends. The venue is a safe environment for those with children.

Overview
An accurately measured Olympic Distance Triathlon set in the Yorkshire countryside. The Saturday adults race starts and finishes at Ripon Racecourse and the swim is open water in a lake at The Ripon Racecourse itself. This is the biggest club organised Triathlon in the UK. 2016 will also see the Ripon Junior Triathlons on the Saturday offering a full range of children and youth open water events in and around the immediate area of Ripon racecourse. These are family friendly events and the weekend is designed to cater for all the family with a full range of entertainment and catering throughout. For those who are interested there is even a TdF Grande Depart route inspired sportive from our venue on race weekend. For more details please visit the Event Website.
