Keyo Brigg Bomber Triathlon – Yorkshire
This standard distance triathlon gave participants a tour of the Yorkshire countryside on Sunday 30 May which started with an open water swim in the River Ancholme before a 32km cycle and 10km run.
Evolve Endurance Trio Weekend - Yorkshire
Making the most of the bank holiday weekend, the Evolve Endurance Trio Weekend hosted a different discipline each day with participants able to choose from a selection of distances for each.
Non Sweet Caroline Aquathlon – East
This aquathlon challenged participants to a 750m open water swim and a 5km run around Merchant Taylor’s School in Northwood.
Taunton Triathlon – South West
Saturday evening saw participants swim, bike, run from Taunton School. Starting in the school’s pool, the event then headed away from the school grounds for the bike leg, before a run which ended in front of the main school building.
Epicman Windermere - North West
This middle distance triathlon set in and around Lake Windermere consisted of a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and half marathon-distance run, as well as offering a standard distance triathlon as well.
Buckinghamshire Duathlon – South Central
The Buckinghamshire Duathlon returned for its second outing this weekend. Wendover Woods played host to the event which included two 5km runs through the woodlands and a fast bike course along open Aylesbury roads.
Hillingdon Aquathlon Race 1 - London
Hillingdon’s first aquathlon of the year took place last Thursday evening with the weather changing just in time. After a 750m swim in the Uxbridge lido, competitors took on a 5km run in three laps across a mix of terrains to reach the finish.
British Triathlon has developed specific Covid-19 requirements focused on the practical implementation of the key government measures of social distancing and increased hygiene. The above permitted events have demonstrated their application of these additional requirements.
