The BRAT Aquathlon this Saturday 10 August will host the British Elite Youth and Junior Aquathlon Championships, which is the final British Elite Youth and Junior Championships event of 2013 and the penultimate event in this year's British Triathlon Youth and Junior Super Series.
The series aims to bring together the very best youth and junior triathletes from around the UK to compete against one another in races spread throughout the season and incorporating many of the British Youth and Junior Championship events.
The British Elite Youth and Junior Aquathlon Championships are being held at the West Midlands Waterski Centre in Tamworth and many of the Youth and Junior Super Series contenders will be on show and looking to enhance their title credentials.
Leah Peploe, Alice Sharpe and Rhiannon Middleton will line up with hopes of making a break at the top of the Junior female Super Series rankings, as will James Teagle, Christopher Perham, Rory Atkins and Jack Hall among the junior males.
Sophie Alden, Elizabeth Hood and Olivia Mathias will be aiming to remain in the running for the female youth Super Series title and in the male youth event, four of the top six in the standings - Jordan Hull, Lewis Byram, Alex Yee and Jack Willis - will take part.
As well as British titles and Super Series rankings, the senior races at the event will also decide the Triathlon England - National Aquathlon Championships.
