With events returning across England, so do the opportunities for Triathlon England Core and Ultimate members to take part in national championship and Age-Group Team qualifier events.
The championships see Core and Ultimate members split into five-year age categories from U20 upwards, with Triathlon England members having the opportunity to compete for the accolade of being crowned national champion at British championship and Triathlon England championship events throughout the year.
These unique opportunities provide participants with the chance to test themselves against the best age group athletes from across England and Britain, as well as take part in some top events with a national title and medal on offer.

As well as competing against the best domestically, Core and Ultimate members are able to qualify to represent the Great Britain Age-Group Team internationally at World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon championships.
Each year, a programme of sprint and standard triathlon and duathlon qualifier events take place to provide members from all three Home Nations the chance to secure a spot in the team to represent Great Britain internationally. Qualifiers in 2021 are for championships in 2022.
On top of the qualifier events, members can qualify for aquathlon, aquabike and middle and long distance triathlon and duathlon championships, with criteria available for each championship here.

Events that are hosting a national championship or Age-Group Team qualifier are organised by permitted event organisers who will be following relevant government and British Triathlon guidance. All event communications will come directly from them, and if you have any questions about the event, please contact the event organisers directly.
