The Great Britain Age-Group Team provides British Triathlon Home Nation members the opportunity to represent Britain at World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon Championships around the world.
Each year, British Triathlon coordinate a series of duathlon and triathlon qualifiers for world and European sprint and standard distance championships. Qualifiers taking place in 2021 will be to qualify for championships in 2022.
Qualification criteria for aquathlon, aquabike and middle and long distance triathlon and duathlon championships is available for each championship here on the British Triathlon website.

In order to use these events as a qualifier for a 2022 championships, you will first need to register your intent to qualify with British Triathlon. Information on how to do this is available here.
Events that are hosting an Age-Group Team qualifier are organised by permitted event organisers who will be following relevant government and British Triathlon guidance in delivering their event in a Covid-Secure manner. All event communications will come directly from them, and if you have any questions about the event, please contact the event organisers.
British Triathlon have produced guidance for participants to help you take part in events in a Covid-Secure manner and this can be found on the button below. Where travel to a different Home Nation to the one you are resident in is required, please follow the relevant travel guidance at the time of the event.
