Published:

Winter temperatures, and even some snow, gave the first English National Championships of 2023 that season opening feel as national titles and medals were won in each age group in duathlon (run, bike, run).

The 2023 English National Standard Distance Duathlon Championships were hosted at Derbyshire Duathlon with the Derbyshire roads and paths around Carsington Water providing the setting for the first of this year’s English National Championships.

The English National Championships provide an opportunity for athletes to compete for national titles in their age group in sprint, standard and middle distance triathlon (swim, bike, run), aquathlon (swim, run) and standard distance duathlon (run, bike, run).
