British Triathlon are supporting the relaunch of Sport England’s This Girl Can Campaign
This Girl Can, a Sport England Campaign, is a national celebration of active women everywhere who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets.

With female participation in triathlon at an all-time high, the campaign aims to encourage a new wave of women, to take their first step into the sport during 2017 as part of the This Girl Can campaign.
To join in you can follow the story of three inspirational ladies, who are all planning triathlon challenges for 2017. We’ll be following their journey and finding more out about them along the way as they update us through their vlog. West Midlands Regions launches grass roots level initiative

Off the back of the relaunch, British Triathlon is running a targeted participation programme in the West Midlands. The activation aims to inspire as many women as possible around the region to take part in one swim, one cycle and one run every week in March.
Support will be available through local activities and training days to help those looking to start out on their triathlon journey, whilst there will be incentives for the female participants who pledge their weekly activity within the online platform launching in March.
