Nominations open for 2018 Triathlon England Awards

Published:

Do you know a worthy award winner in your region? The Triathlon England Annual Awards are now open for nominations and will remain so until 12 September.

The awards give us an opportunity to recognise and celebrate both individuals that have played a key role in the development of the sport and events that have stood out for providing the highest quality experience for competitors over the last 12 months.

We are inviting you to nominate in a number of award categories, from which Regional Award winners will be crowned.

Nominations are now open for the following awards:

  1. Young Volunteer of the Year
  2. Volunteer of the Year
  3. Technical Official of the Year
  4. Children's Coach of the Year
  5. Participation Coach of the Year
  6. Children's Event of the Year
  7. Club Event of the Year
  8. Commercial Event of the Year
  9. GO TRI Organiser of the Year
  10. Club of the Year

Once nominations close, a shortlist will be drawn up for each region and the Regional Committees will decide their respective winners.

The regional winners of each category will then be put forward for a chance to win the national award in that category, chosen by a specially selected panel.

Full details of the awards on offer and the nomination process can be found at https://www.triathlonengland.org/events/triathlon-england-awards

Regional awards will be presented at regional AGM’s, with national Triathlon England Awards being personally delivered to the winning individuals.
