On Saturday 25 August 2018 the Triathlon England Club Relays will once again return to Nottingham’s National Watersports Centre.
This unique event, organised by OSB Events, offers clubs from across England the opportunity to enter teams to compete for the title of Triathlon England National Champion in a number of different categories. This provides club members the perfect opportunity to team up and represent their club in this National Championships. Triathlon is not just an individual sport, so team up and get out your club colours!

This is the final 2018 Triathlon England National Championships and is the only one where you can compete as a team to become a Triathlon England National Champion! Teams of four will compete in the relay format whereby all four members will swim one after another, before the fourth swimmer hands over to the first cyclist and so on until all four have completed each discipline of a triathlon. The swim will be 500m, before a 15km bike and finishing with a 5km run section, with the final runner crossing the finish line under the Triathlon England gantry in front of the grandstand.
The event, first held in 1991, attracts around 1600 athletes from over 100 clubs to compete, but with a carnival atmosphere and camping available at the venue why not bring your whole club to cheer on those competing? With opportunities for your members to be volunteers at the Championships instead of competing, make the most of the Bank Holiday Weekend and head over to Nottingham with you club for a weekend of friendly competition, fun and sun (you never know!).
In order to compete for the Triathlon England National Club Championship titles, all four members must be a Home Nation Member and be registered to the same club – this club must be written on your membership card. Any changes to the club you are registered with must be made before 12pm midnight on Friday 27 July in order for them to be valid for the Club Relay Championships. These changes must be made through emailing the British Triathlon Membership Team.
