In less than a month’s time, Chessington World of Adventures opens its doors for the Triathlon England and British Triathlon AGM Weekend.
The iconic venue, hosting Triathlon England for the first time, is gearing up to stage a range of tailored workshops in the morning (more information and how to book can be found here) before inviting individuals to the Annual General Meeting at 2:00pm, 14 November.
We warmly invite all to the AGM in order to hear about the progress of the sport over the past 12 months, whilst having the opportunity to input your thoughts and ideas of how you believe we can continue to deliver triathlon successfully in 2016. The afternoon will be taken by those at the heart of the organisation and is free to attend.
Regional Award winners have been put forward to the Triathlon England Awards, which will take place at 4:30pm. We invite all to attend to celebrate some of the key individuals within our sport; recognising the most inspiring volunteers, clubs and events from the past 12 months.
A Future of the Sport Presentation, delivered by Jack Buckner, CEO of British Triathlon, will then describe the over-arching vision for the sport of triathlon over the coming years.
