A busy weekend is nearly upon us, with our athletes involved in many races across the globe. The ITU World Triathlon Series is taking place is Stockholm, whilst the East Midlands will be a hive of activity this week, with the Triathlon England Club Relays, British Triathlon U20’s Festival and British Paratriathlon Championships all taking place over the bank holiday.  

ITU World Triathlon Stockholm

The penultimate round of the ITU World Triathlon Series heads to Stockholm this weekend, offering a final chance for some of the world's top athletes to come together prior to the Grand Final in Rotterdam in just three weeks time. Don't miss it!

Triathlon England Club Relays

The Triathlon England Club Relays are set to take over Nottingham this weekend, with a nearly 450 teams competing. The National Watersports Centre will host the event yet again, it having become a key date in the diary for triathlon clubs across the nation. There will be 3 different race categories, with Male, Female and Mixed Teams all aiming for a top-3 position.

British Triathlon U20’s Festival

The British Triathlon Youth and Junior Super Series will reach a crescendo in Leicestershire's Mallory Park on Bank Holiday Monday, as the counry's top young talent go head-to-head in a battle for the podium. TriStars 2 & 3's will also be in action, with 12 regions accross Britain coming together for the annual British Triathlon Inter-Regional Championships.

British Paratriathlon Championships

The Mallory Park action doesn't stop there. The venue will also play host to the 2017 British Paratriathlon Championships, the final selection opportunity for athletes wanting to race at upcoming ITU World Championships in Rotterdam. The event also holds high importance for PTWC athletes as athletes can achieve Automatic Qualification to the Gold Coast 2018 CGE Commonwealth Nominated Paratriathlon Team should they win on Monday. 

Look out for Rio 2016 gold medallists, Andy Lewis and Claire Cashmore on the start line, the latter having transferred into the sport from swimming last year.
