Individuals, clubs and events that made a difference to the swim, bike, run community in 2021 will be recognised this Friday (11 March) as the 2022 HUUB Triathlon England Award winners are revealed during a virtual celebration.

The 2022 HUUB Triathlon England Awards will be hosted by sports presenter Kate Mason, with the winners of each award being announced live during the virtual event by Team England’s Birmingham 2022 Triathlon Team Leader and Head of Paralympic Programme at British Triathlon, Jonathon Riall.

This year’s event will once again recognise and celebrate the hard work of those involved in swim, bike, run who play a key part in making the sport what it is. There are 12 awards recognising outstanding clubs, coaching, volunteers and Technical Officials, and specific awards for events and to recognise the work being done around inclusion and wellbeing.

Members of the swim, bike, run community were invited to submit award nominations to regional award programmes across the 12 award categories with each region’s awards committee determining regional winners. The regional winners have all advanced through to the shortlist of the 2022 HUUB Triathlon England Awards, where the national winner for each award will be crowned.

Award winners will receive a trophy and a prize from this year’s awards partner, HUUB, as well as the honour of calling themselves a national award winner.

The 2022 HUUB Triathlon England Awards will start at 7pm on Friday 11 March with a link to join the virtual ceremony sent to all nominees with club members, volunteers, family and friends invited to join too.
