Paratriathlon comes to Mallory Park next month

Published:

Titles will be awarded at the Triathlon England National Paratriathlon Championships at Mallory Park in July, whilst age-groupers are to experience a taster of the course that also hosts the British Triathlon U20's Festival and Inter-regional Championships later in the year.

Organisers of the Mallory Park Triathlon taking place on Saturday 18 July 2015, are offering a truly unique racing opportunity with its new and improved event format. The day will see draft legal triathlon racing for athletes as young as 11 years old, as well as races their parents can take part in too. This will be the first time that age-group athletes can get a taste of draft legal racing, a great opportunity for those thinking about taking part in the ITU World Sprint Triathlon Championships next year. Updates to the schedule also mean the racing happens at more family friendly times.

Paratriathlon is also part of the action, with Triathlon England handing out its first ever National Paratriathlon titles at Mallory Park. The race is open to anybody with a disability to have a go at their first triathlon.
