The Triathlon England Awards celebrate the successes of triathlon and the people who make triathlon and enjoyable journey. This year a new award was introduced, the GO TRI Organiser award. The award winners will be celebrated individually and will come together on November 10 at the Triathlon England AGM to be celebrated amongst their peers.

This year the awards will be given to the winners personally in their region ahead of the Triathlon England AGM.

Sarah Taylor-Hough, Director Western Region said “This year’s awards have been about being influential and what has been done for grassroots multisport and triathlon rather than being the best and the uppermost level. As a result we have had more nominations than ever before. Interestingly the winners have not necessarily been the highest qualified or longest standing but the ones that have made a significant contribution and offered inspiration which is what grassroots multisport and triathlon is all about.”

There is still time to book on to this year’s AGM and Workshop day. You can find more information here.
